Talking Objects

Young people looking at the Mold CapeThe Talking Objects project asks young people to investigate British Museum objects by talking to curators, handling real objects, debating relevant issues and using drama, music, dance and visual arts to expand ideas about the significance of these objects for us today.

Over the next four years, we will be working with groups to look at objects from the far corners of the collection, starting with the Rosetta Stone, the Throne of Weapons, The Great Wave print and the Jade Terrapin.

If you are a member of a community organisation or youth group and would like to be involved in a future Talking Objects project, please email communities@britishmuseum.org
