Curator of Modern Middle East
To acquire, curate and promote ethnographic,
modern and contemporary material from the Middle East and Central
Asia. To extend meaning for existing collections. To invest
existing ancient collections from the Middle East with contemporary
social and political significance. This relates particularly to the
development of national identities, and regime change through the
19th and 20th centuries.

Fire Safety Manager
The post holder will be responsible for
providing specialist technical advice to the Museum on efficient
and effective means to protect staff, visitors and the collection
from fire. This role will also enhance the positive staff culture
that affects thinking and behaviours about fire safety across the
whole museum.
