Having recently completed his Ph.D at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London, John's research at the British Museum continues to focus on the site of Tell es-Sa‘idiyeh, Jordan.  John is currently co-ordinating the Tell es-Sa‘idiyeh Cemetery publication project, under the supervision of Jonathan Tubb (Assistant Keeper of the Ancient Levant).  The project is supported with funding from the White-Levy Program for Archaeological Publication, and the Seven Pillars of Wisdom Trust. 

His research interests are in the archaeology of the Near East in the Bronze and Iron Ages, with a focus on the Late Bronze and Early Iron Age. John is also a part-time lecturer for Birkbeck College and Oxford University Departments for Continuing Education.
