Coins and Medals
Amelia Dowler is responsible for all the Greek and Roman provincial coins in the Museum. Her particular interests are Bithynia, and the other Hellenistic Kingdoms of Asia Minor, fourth century BC history and numismatics, Athenian ‘imitation’ coins, North African history and numismatics.
She is also responsible for coordinating volunteers and interns in the department.
