Elisabeth R. O’Connell is Research Curator in the Department of
Ancient Egypt & Sudan. Her areas of expertise include the
social history and material culture of Roman and Byzantine Egypt.
Her work engages approaches to the integrated study of ancient
texts and their archaeological contexts.
