The department is open for enquiries weekdays, 10.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00 (excluding bank holidays) and is based in the historic Arched Room, through the large double doors at the north end of the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery (Room 4), at the bottom of the West Stairs.
