Reports and publications

Publication is an essential component of the activity of the department.

Members of staff and invited scholars write or contribute to many general-interest books on the Egyptian collection and on Egyptology in general.

British Museum Studies in Ancient Egypt and Sudan (BMSAES)

The department also regularly publishes the BMSAES, an online journal that aims to encourage electronic publication of research.
