The first book by a Chinese scholar on Sudan to be donated to the AES department library

The Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan library is open to people who are seriously researching topics in the fields of ancient Egypt, Coptic Egypt and Sudan and who are searching for material that is not otherwise available in local libraries or institutions, the British Library, the library of University College London or the library of the Egypt Exploration Society in London.

To use the library, make an appointment with the librarian at least 48 hours before you plan to visit.

Visitors access the library under the condition that Study room rules and regulations are observed.

Opening hours:

Mondays to Fridays 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-16:30
Closed on public holidays, 23 December - 2 January, Easter and exceptionally at otBook conservation project in the AES department libraryher times.
