Following an archaeology degree and a few years abroad teaching English, Fi returned to the UK to contract archaeology fieldwork, and a Masters in object conservation. After various contracts carrying out conservation, collections care and exhibition registrar work, Fi joined the British Museum as assistant Treasure registrar two years ago. Taking on the registrar position shortly after, she now manages the newly expanded Treasure section, which carries out the bulk of all administration and liaison relating to the Treasure process.

Overseeing the transfer of duties relating to the administration of the valuations side of Treasure.
