Since graduating in Medieval Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London, Claire has worked in various posts in facilities management; cultural sector education, ensuring that archaeology and museum National Occupational Standards and vocational qualifications were fit for purpose; and working with educational grants and budgets. Claire is currently studying part-time for an MA in Public Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL. The role of Resources Manager, based at the British Museum, is to manage grants and other resources and to support the work of the central unit and the Scheme as a whole.
