Mr Francis Finlay
Francis Finlay is Chairman of Clay Finlay Inc., a New York-based
institutional investment management firm with offices in Europe and
Asia. Prior to co-founding the firm in 1982, Francis held senior
international investment management positions at Morgan Guaranty
Trust in New York and Lazard Freres in New York and previously
Paris, and was a member of the Investment Policy Committees of both
institutions. He is a Director of a number of investment
companies.
Educated at Oxford University, where he is an Honorary Fellow of
Merton College and a member of the Chancellor’s Court of
Benefactors, Francis also served as an Adjunct Professor at
Columbia University Graduate School of Business 1981-1986. He is
currently a Governor of the London Business School and of the
Ditchley Foundation, Chairman of the James Martin 21st Century
Foundation, a Director of the EastWest Institute, a Trustee of the
Weidenfeld Institute and a member of several international advisory
boards.
Francis is Chairman of the American Friends of the British
Museum.
