Issue 11: April 2009
Editorial
In addition to this issue's paper, a detailed technical study of
one of the ancient shoes in the collection of the British Museum,
readers attention is drawn to other resources now available on the
Museum website. The online Collection database now features all of
the records for material housed within the Department of the Middle
East. There is much that relates directly to the cultures of the
Nile Valley, most notably the Amarna letters.
In addition, two new online journals have been launched: the
Bronze Age Review and the Technical Research Bulletin. The first
issue of the latter includes an analysis of pigment inlays from
Meidum.
