Middle Bronze Age (Scope note)

Middle Bronze Age is a cultural term widely used from Europe to the Far East, and is subject to local regional subdivisions with their own chronologies. Italy: c. 1700 BC - 1300 BC Britain and Ireland: c. 1600 BC - 1200 BC France: c. 1600 BC - 1300 BC Low Countries: c. 1800 BC - 1050 BC Greece: the terms 'Middle Cycladic', and 'Middle Helladic' and 'Middle Minoan' are used to record objects described as 'Middle Bronze Age'.
