Engraver, painter, draughtsman, and print publisher; born in Bologna. Pupil of Bartolomeo Passarotti and Domenico Tibaldi. Active in Bologna (1579/81), Venice and Cremona (1582 and 1588/99), Florence and Rome (1581? and 1597-c.1600), etc. Buried in Parma Cathedral.
