Josef Wünsch (Biographical details)

Josef Wünsch (Austrian; Male; 1843 - 1916)

Also known as

Wünsch, Josef

Director of a brewery, and specialist collector of early woodcuts. Entire collection sold in 1927, and the BM bought many lots. Dodgson's report to the Trustees dated 10 May 1927 recorded that many of the prints sold with the implication that they had belonged to Wünsch actually came directly from the estate of Friedrich August II.
