Niece of John Bridge whose collection of Indian sculpture was given to the BM in 1872 on the death of his brother, George. Miss Fanny Bridge was one of the latter's daughters and part of the trio of ladies (Mrs John Bridge, Miss Fanny Bridge and Mrs Edgar Baker) who were the official donors of the collection.
