Domuztepe dig diary
For six weeks during August and September 2008, archaeologists from the British Museum and the University of Manchester will be in south-central Turkey unearthing the story of Domuztepe, a Late Neolithic settlement.
British Museum curator Alexandra Fletcher is keeping a diary to report on the latest activity on-site. Follow her progress here.

Week three: In the shade

relief from the sun
Week four: a VIP site visit
A change to the usual early morning routine as the governer of the
local area visits the site
Week five: the dust descends
