Naukratis has been the topic of scholarly studies ever since its rediscovery 130 years ago (and even before). Here is a list of the main excavation reports and of some of the most important subsequent studies, as well as the publications of the Naukratis project so far.

Online Research Catalogue

The British Museum Online research catalogue Naukratis: Greeks in Egypt is now online, giving access to the complete set of over 18,000 objects excavated during the late 19th and early 20th century excavations at the site, as well as containing a wide range of analytical chapters concerning the material culture, history and topography of the site.
