Description
Gold foil strip; probably a diadem; hammered; narrow with parallel sides tapering to rounded ends; impressed decoration comprising a border of dots; both ends missing; mended from two fragments, registered as a and b.

Width: 1.6 centimetres
Weight: 4.36 grammes


Curator's comments
Found unregistered but apparently from excavations at Enkomi. Marked with painted number '1'. 'Fragments of thin gold bands' are mentioned as originating in tomb 1 in the notebook, lending support to all objects numbered '1' originating from this tomb.
