Description
Fragment of a gold spiral ear-ring or hair-ring; hammered; cut at each end with shears; probably deposited in tomb as gold scrap; shown in centre in photograph.

Dimensions
Length: 2.9 centimetres
Thickness: 0.25 centimetres
Weight: 2.65 grammes


Curator's comments
Found unregistered but apparently from excavations at Enkomi. Marked with painted number '1'. 'Fragments of thin gold bands' are mentioned as originating in tomb 1 in the notebook, lending support to all objects numbered '1' originating from this tomb.
