Description
Mycenaean pottery oblate alabastron of Furumark type FS 84; wheel-made; depressed baggy body on a rounded base; short neck with everted rim; three small loop handles on the shoulder (one is broken with only the stumps remaining); made of buff clay with similar buff slip, decorated with dark brown lustrous paint: wave pattern around the body, bands on the underside and neck; surface worn in places.
