Gold chain necklace with an garnet-inlaid pendant; the chain consists of a series of interconnected loops of gold wire arranged in short sections which are linked with single wires with garnet spacer beads in between; at one end of the chain is a pendant comprising a tapering hoop with a garnet, the other is a S-loop clasp attached to which is a conical garnet in a simple bezel; the pendant is an elaborate wheel-like motif with three oval settings in the shape of leaves made from gold sheet, each originally set with stones (one remains), decorated with granulated spirals and beaded wire.
