Terracotta protome spout of a Base Ring II vessel in the form of a bull's head together with small vessel body; slender concave neck; pellet eyes encircled by rings of clay; hole through snout acts as a spout; right horn broken; fragment of original handle extends from the back of the bull's head; breast-flap or dewlap rendered as a simple ridge of clay which extends beyond the ring of clay defining (and masking) the junction of the protome and the vase proper; fabric is orange-brown with grey core covered with matt brown slip; decorated with bands of white paint on neck of animal and surviving parts of the vase.
