Terracotta figure of standing woman in Greek dress on low plinth base; her right leg is slightly bent at knee, her left hand bent to her waist, her right hand lifted upwards across her chest; both arms muffled in himation pulled tightly around her; hair arranged in schematic version of melon style with pronounced central parting and ring of plaits at back; coarse orange clay (with calcite and other inclusions); brownish slip applied to front of figure; back of the figure, which has a large square opening for assemblage; is not modelled, while the plinth is modelled only at the front.
