Undiagnostic (Unidentifable) Objects and Potential Fakes

There are a number of undiagnostic objects, potential fakes and one replica which cannot be integrated into the main catalogue. The 27 undiagnostic objects cannot be assigned to a chronological goldworking phase because they are an unidentified object fragment or they cannot be placed in a typological scheme. The seven potential fakes have been scientifically analysed due to suspicions surrounding their authenticity, but cannot be confirmed as forgeries. For this reason they are not incorporated into the main catalogue. The replica is an inaccurate reconstruction of the Middle Bronze Age Lansdown disc.
