A total of 299 objects cannot now be assigned to a specific tomb. The majority of these are manufactured from fragile or poorly preserved materials or are very small objects, such as beads.
It seems likely that the difficulty of writing on these objects led to their finally becoming separated from their tomb groups. It is also probable that some are surface finds, either from the settlement or objects discarded or overlooked by looters.
Objects from uncertain tombs are numbered U.1 to U.299.
