On Publication
Jeffrey Spencer
This article considers what constitutes
publication and the alternative options available for the effective
sharing of research. Issues discussed include the cost of
publishing, the media through which it is achieved and the
consequences for data collection of using alternatives to printed
paper, especially for the recording of fieldwork.
