Copper alloy shield-mount in form of bird's leg and hip, used in reconstruction of shield 1939,1010.94. Part of same bird motif as C.1. Hip is pear-shaped and has central cloisonné panel with garnets surrounding human face. This panel is surrounded by triangular bands of stamped decoration, with three gold rivets for attachment. The leg curves away, with four separate curving claws, and has three plain rivets.
