Clean, consolidate, repair & repack as necessary.
organic fragments friable. gold foil torn and susceptible to damage.
A 5% solution of Paraloid B72 in acetone was used to consolidate the craks in the gold foil. No joins between the fragments were found. The fragments were repacked.
