Reason for treatment
Clean to remove dirt and tarnish.
The objects are in fair condition overall. There is surface dirt and dust present and the silver is tarnished in areas.
The dirt and dust was removed using cotton swabs of Acetone (propan-1-one/dimethyl ketone). The tranish was removed using Silvo silver and chrome (cotton wadding,white spirit,Newburgh chalk,china clay). Any residues were removed using White Spirit (composition variable - petroleum distillate) followed by Acetone.
