Consolidate if necessary (?).Fix back fragments where possible, pack and remove old labels.Agree new labelling with curator.
Fragile fragment of wood packed in old box with deteriorated packing materials and old labels.
Packed in clear polystyrene box with lid. Fragments were placed within cutouts of Plastezote with Jiffy foam below (all inert polyethylene foams).Box labelled. Old labels placed within labelled polythene bag.
