Consolidate, repair and re-pack as necesaary.
A copper alloy buckle. The buckle has a loose leather fragment. The object is unsuitably packed and has broken into a number of pieces.
The copper alloy strap fragments and leather fragment were broken into a number of pieces. They were re-joined using HMG Paraloid B72 (methyl ethyl methacrlylate). Packed object with a plastazote lining within a crystal box. The box was labelled with the registration number on the lid and on a tyvek label inserted under the packing.
