    Multiple fragments in unsuitable packing.

    Surface pitted and corroding.

    Treatment details

    No joins found. Corrosion removed mechanically with air-abrasive using Aluminium oxide, No1 powder. Packed object with a plastazote lining within a crystal box. The box was labelled with the registration number on the lid and on a tyvek label inserted under the packing.
