Clean (dry methods) Consolidate where necessary, pack and remove old labels.
Object dry and brittle but photographic evidence would indicate no deterioration since it was taken. It was noted that in addition to the original 6 pieces of horn are 4 extra. The B&W photograph would indicate that these are not fragments of these objects, but they have been stored in crystal boxes within the larger polyester box.
Dry clean with low suction vacuum and sable brushes. The objects were placed in Plastazote (polyethylene) cut outs and placed within clear polyester boxes.
