Clean, consolidate,repair & repack as necessary.
Previously stuck on glassfibre sheet. Remains of gold leaf. Possible remains of leather stitching in round hole (see picture).
Where gold leaf liable to become detached, consolidated with 5% Paraloid B72 (ethyl methacrylate copolymer) in Acetone (propan-1-one/dimethyl ketone).
