Three boxes of wood fragments from bottles 1939,1010.122-127; with silver staining from mounts and vandykes, and impressions of decoration. Some fragments with silver rivets, and some silver and textile residue.

Reason for treatment
Clean, consolidate, repair and repack as necessary
Fragments of wood in a delicate condition packed loose on cotton wadding in glass-top box.
Repacked in large boxes lined with polyethlene foam and jiffy-foam . Different types of organic remains separated out.Textile sorted and oak wood from chamber separated from vessel wood. Traces of feathers found in associaition with wood. Everything described as maplewood cups.
