January 2002 Req.No:77223 Dirty. Old lacquer and cleaning products in the details especially around the rivets. CRB
January 2002 Cleaned to remove the dirt using IMS applied on cotton wool swabs. Removed the tarnish with Silvo (cotton wadding, white spirit, Newburgh chalk, china clay). Degreased with white spirit. Picked out debris from some of the detail with a pin vice. Renumbered. CRB
Found circa 1880. Said to be part of the Raab Treasure.
