Reason for treatment
Demount, repair, mount.
Verso edges attached to old mount. Missing areas.
Demounted and removed long paper hinges with moisture. Removed old lining using moisture and Industrial Methylated Spirits. Repair missing areas top edge, top and bottom left corners, left middle. These repairs were retouched with watercolours. Inlaid using Japanese strip method and mounted in acid free board, royal by MT3.
