    Treatment proposal

    Demount, repair, inlay, mount.


    Verso edges attached to old mount. Small missing area bottom right, small worm holes bottom edge and middle.

    Treatment details

    Demount and removed long paper hinges with moisture. Removed adhesive from verso edges. Repaired small missing area and worm holes with hosho adhered with cellofas and retouched with watercolours. Inlaid using Japanese strip method. Mounted in royal acid free board by MT3.
