    The subject is the artist's half-sister. The drawing was made in preparation for a bronze bust made in a unique cast in 1999 and exhibited at the Royal Society of British Sculptors Summer Exhibiition 2001. The sculptor's work is also represented in C&M The full title of the drawing was given on a label attached to the original mount
