A rectangular piece of striped cotton textile, 'pantelonikki'; machine made. 2/2 twill woven; alternating light brown stripes (with a thin black line on one side) and a natural cream stripe of equal width. Selvedges at shorter sides. 'No 17' written in lilac pigment in one corner. A narrow strip from one corner is missing.
