A rectangular piece of striped cotton textile, 'pantelonikki'; machine woven. 2/2 twill woven; green stripes (not solid) of two different widths on a natural cream 'ground'. Selvedges at shorter sides. '23a' written in blue pigment, and '23a' written in lilac pigment in one corner.
