A long rectangular towel, 'mantilia'; made of natural cream cotton, woven with a twill herringbone pattern, 'kiparissoto'. A cream centre field with 3cm band in the centre made up of fine coloured smaller bands: red, yellow, green, blue and orange. The same colours are used in a 10 cm band at each end. The warp ends are plied and finished with small coloured tassels. Marked vertical centre fold. Stains in the centre of the cloth.
