Found at 'Annaba (formerly Hippo, then Bône), Algeria; from grave with nos. 1865,0518.4-5, 7-26 and 28; there is no direct evidence of the grave groups, but the bill of purchase (16.5.1865) differentiates the contents of "two Byzantine tombs" and this is repeated in Franks 1865; Annual Returns for 1865, p. 15, state the objects "were obtained in the country" by vendor
