SPOON of incised wood, made out of a solid piece. The handle has a rounded expansion in the centre and a shaped end both partly pierced; the ornament consists of bands of cross-hatchings and four groups of rings. From the Niger River Settlement. West African. Given by Miss M. Fletcher. 1152-1903'
