OVAL GILT-BRASS WATCH CASE. . Oval plain gilt brass case, the band with upper and lower mouldings. Modern gilt-brass hinged lid and modern back. Modern pendant. Modern dial plate in the 17th century manner with an engraved chapter-ring, Roman hour numerals I-XII and star half-hour marks. Scrolling foliate border with a winged cherub's head at the top and two grotesque heads at the bottom. In the middle an engraved foliate design. Modern steel hand riveted to a crudely made dial wheel.
