MOVEMENT AND DIAL OF A VERGE WATCH CASE: Missing. DIAL: White enamel dial with minutes numbered 15,30,45 and 60 and hours I-XII. Pierced gilt hands. MOVEMENT: Circular gilt-brass plates with four square baluster pillars. Gilt-brass barrel with tangent screw set-up between the plates. Fusee with chain and standard stop-work. Four wheel train of gilt-brass wheels, the centre wheel solid, the third and contrate wheels with three crossings. Verge escapement, the crown wheel runs between rivetted potence and counter potence, the former with a straight moulded foot, the latter with a separate bearing plug. Steel three-arm balance with spiral balance spring. Tompion regulator, the silver index disc numbered I-VI. Balance cock piereced and engraved with scrolls to table and foot and with a bird at the junction.
