Stone head, grey; features in low relief; abraded.
From LUNGALUNGA, about 15 miles N. of RABAUL, NEW BRITAIN (in the TOLAI area). One of two which had been buried, probably at the instigation of the missionaries. They are greatly feared; these had to be magically "killed" to make them safe.
