This piece was purchased from the maker during a visit to the Department of Ethnography on 6 September 2001. Alison Carrol, the chair of Ernabella Arts Inc., and other Ernabella artists were in England to participate in the 'This Earth for Us: Stories and Art from Australia's First People' exhibition, at its' Edinburgh venue, the City Art Centre.
