- Made in: Sweden
- Diameter: 2 centimetres
For a similar ring see Iona Plath, 'The Decorative Arts of Sweden', New York 1848, p. 92.
'Received from the Trustees of the Christy Collection in exchange for duplicates from Haslar Hospital.' (acquisitions register for 1868,0309). For explanation see 1868,0309.4. The register also notes that these pieces were 'all from Norway'; they are all made in Sweden. Norway was still united to Sweden until 1905 which may explain the confusion.
